Fabric Bag

Good evening.  We hope you have checked out our latest project.  The fabric bag can be used for many different things.  It is a great way to "go green" as they say.  We made this bag an 18" x 18" but you can certainly change the size you want by making it bigger or smaller.  It is what fits your needs that is most important.  This can be used to carry your groceries, for your computer, for children's activities when traveling, and much more. 

In choosing an upholstery fabric for the outside, you will want to make sure it is easy enough to handle and not too heavy.  You do not want an upholstery fabric that has a stiff rubber backing.  If you have not been to In-Weave in downtown Hawarden, Iowa, please take the time to stop by.  They have a huge selection of upholstery and we are sure you will not have a problem finding something that will work for you. 

Remember to fold in at the bottom when making your bag.  If you adjust the size of your bag, you will want to also adjust the amount you fold in.   If you are making a smaller bag, then you do not need to fold quite as much or if you are going larger, then you will need to fold in more.  This fold allows you to open your bag more and also folds up for storage nicely.
