Infinity Scarf
Today we are going to talk a little more about the infinity scarf. As was mentioned yesterday, be sure to leave about 3" open on each end because you will use that to put it together. This makes the circle for your scarf. Using fabrics such as polyester, rayon, knits, polyester crepe or blends, work the best. Make sure they are the 58" to 60" in length or you will need to seam two pieces to get enough length so that you can wrap your scarf. If they are not this wide, then it will take a yard of fabric, otherwise 1/2 yard is sufficient.
These are very easy and add a fashion statement to your apparel. In-Weave in Hawarden, Iowa, carries a nice variety of different fabrics that will work. Be sure to stop in and check them out. Anyone can make themselves an infinity scarf. Have a great weekend and we will be back on Monday.
