Sewing & Upholstery

Hope everyone has had a great weekend.  Before we start on our first project, we are going to talk a little about sewing and upohlstery.  Sewing is a great way to the start of something new if you haven't done it before.  It can open many doors and there is a wide area of where you can go with it.  Sewing blankets, clothes, pillows, towels, quilts are just a few of the different items you can create but there is much more.  As for upholstery, taking an old piece of furniture and giving it new life is exciting.  You can save so much by doing projects on your own.  You can also bring an item more up-to-date to fit your decor.  Before you decide to throw away that old piece of furniture, consider upholstering it instead.
